My plan was to use the guiding assistant in PHD to get a graph of the tracking performance, but initially the mount wouldn't move. Then click on the mount button next to the camera button and that will connect to the mount, then click the target button to start. I missed your post before I added all of that information. It is cheaper to do my option, but both will work, and like I said earlier, a lot of people will say that pulse guiding gives better results that ST4 guiding, but that is a matter of opinion, and for our scopes I will always stick to the pulse guiding method. And Opticstar tell me that they may get them around May time!!

Telescope/Mount Drivers

Can anyone please tell me how you connect-up the guide 'scope and camera to guide the LX90 using the equatorial wedge. The connector cable set will probably emade what we'll need. I missed your post before I added all of that information.

I've gotten used to navigating through the Autostar hand controller but the software that is supposed to emulate the hand controller is not showing me what the controller is doing so that doesn't work. I tried out a new program called ScopeDriver today which also asscom work, but I noticed that in its documentation it said that some ascomm will refuse to accept any serial commands until after they have been aligned.

Was anyone able to figure out a good way to control the LX90 from a computer??? It sounds like you're on top of things.
